Juliann Burks received her degree from Appalachian State University in Marriage and Family Therapy. She has experience working with families in crisis. She is EMDR certified and has a focus on trauma work. She works with families, couples, and children. She has also experience working with couple in stress and transitions.
Julie is a Prepared and Enrich facilitator, which is evidence-based program designed for couples considering marriage and those already married but want a full and rich experience in their marriage. She is experienced with assisting clients work through loss and grief. Julie also brings a Christian or spiritual perspective to those who desire. She has worked cross culturally, therefore, works within each client's view. Julie is an AAMFT Clinical Fellow and is EMDRIA certified.
She accepts Aetna, BCBS, CIGNA, OPTUM, Tri-Care East, UHC, and UMR.
Her self pay rate is $105 for intake visits and $85 after that for regular visits.
